The field of climate change is relatively recent and rapidly changing. Within this context, a multitude of challenges exist for lecturers trying to keep their curricula current. However, new teaching tools and approaches are emerging that can support lecturer efforts.
During 2021 ARUA-CD ran a workshop series with lecturers from multiple institutions in Southern, West and East Africa to equip and support them with reviewing their Masters curricula. In this infographic we summarise the main learnings from this workshop series. Lecturers can use this infographic to convey their curriculum challenges (and ways of overcoming these challenges) to their colleagues and senior university leadership.

The workshop series was run as part of the African Research Universities Alliance Centre of Excellence in Climate and Development (ARUA-CD), with funds provided through UK Research and Innovation for Strengthening Projects and Networks (SPAN).
